Very nice web site... I was looking for a history page but only saw some familiar names- Gene Thompson, Visser, Messenger, Zacharias, Bloss... It's good to see those family names continue to serve! Anyway, my Dad, Harry King was a member in the late 60's until his passing on December 9, 1972- 44 years ago today. I remember spending time with him, my mother and their friends in the fire department at the firehouse, especially, preparing for and attending the field days! Pushball was so much fun to watch! I was hoping to see a picture of him... Perhaps, this is something that could be added- to pay homage to those who served before you. Anyway, keep up the good work and be safe! To those who read this and remember Harry and Toni King... and maybe even me- Be well. Merry Christmas.

This is a very nice website! I have an idea to promote Kirkville Fire Dept fundraising and help out our community. Each year the Fire Company holds the Chicken BBQ. Why not have a Kirkville village (or area) garage sale? I'm sure you would sell alot more chicken dinners and we can get rid of our unwanted stuff. It's a win-win day for all. I organized a Kirkville Community garage sale a few years ago. Though we only had about 10 households participate, those who did said it was very successful. I will help organize the sale but need the date as I will be out of town at times. Give me a call 315-420-1431. Laurie
